- Almon Butram was born on March 24, 1910 in Edmonson County, the son of Frank Almon and Lou (Hogan) Butram. He attended school at the Dripping Springs school in Edmonson County. He married Ruth Paxton on June 8, 1930 and operated a farm in northern Warren County. They are buried in the Rocky Hill Cemetery in Edmonson County.

- This small collection contains information related to the operation of Mr. Butram's farm. Also included are sundry legal and financial papers for Mr. Butram. Receipts for Gladys Paxton's funeral are of particular interest.
