- Sailor from Louisville killed on the U.S.S. Arizona on 7 December 1941. Personal letters on U.S.S. Arizona stationery to his parents prior to his death during the raid on Pearl Harbor. Certificates from the government including one for his Purple Heart signed by Secretary of the Navy Frank Knox, and an appointment as a Kentucky Colonel signed by governor Keen Johnson.
