This small collection consists of various unrelated papers dated from 1782 to 1892. Included are a notification dated 1782 and signed by Squire Boone, clarifying his right to land in Lincoln County, Kentucky; a tax note dated 1805; an 1847 deed between Isom Jones and Elias Richmond for land in Whitley County, Kentucky; an 1859 summons to the Fulton County (Kentucky) Circuit Court; burial notices for Col. James and Harriet Davidson ca. 1862; an 1865 certificate, issued from the Kentucky Adjutant General's office, verifying the service of Guy Woodson, a black soldier, in the Kentucky Volunteers; a Fraternal Epistle of the Freemasons ca. 1880s concerning poet laureate of the Freemasons, Rob Morris of La Grange, Kentucky; a clipping of memorial to William D. Nicholas, a Confederate veteran who died in 1892; and two undated, typed notes concerning the Massey/Massie family.
