- Mary Churchill Humphrey was a world traveler and patron of the arts. Her papers include correspondence with particular emphasis on the conditions she and her friends found in Europe during and after World War II. Her notebooks record her studies of sculpture and painting. There are also drafts in English and French of a book, Pilgrimage Mystique, which explores the spirituality of different cultures.
