The majority of letters were sent to Jens Christian Bay. However, several letters were received from Jennie Flexner, a librarian, and Edward M. Brecht, Abbot of Gethsemani, Trappist, Kentucky, as well as by members of the Bay and Allison families. Included are a short biography of Allison and a bibliography of his works. Many of the clippings present in the scrapbooks are articles written by Allison.</p>
