Benjamin "Ben" Worthington (Costa Rica, 1973-1975; Agriculture Program: Forestry) talks about his motivation to join the Peace Corps as a way to a U.S. Forest Service job and his work with the ICE, Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad, in Costa Rica. He describes his job in detail, including work on water hyacinths in reservoirs. He also discusses his life and educational background both before and after joining the Peace Corps, including his work in national forests in the Pacific Northwest, then in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, and as forest supervisor in the Daniel Boone National Forest for ten years before retirement. 2012 View Collection Guide to obtain rights information.
